Born in 1970 in Can­ton Thur­gau / Switzer­land the artist is pho­to­graph­ing since 2007 primar­ily nude-art by his stage name Ar­tof­dan. He works ex­clus­ively with avail­able light and does not use aids such as light­ning, head­lights or bright­en­ers. This marks his visu­al lan­guage whose style for his fans is clearly vis­ible.

His vis­ion is to cre­ate erot­ic im­ages of time­less value. With great pas­sion in pho­to­graphy he brings im­press­ive feel­ings and emo­tions in his pho­tos ex­pressed. Sen­su­al­ity, pas­sion, thought­ful­ness, de­sire and erot­i­cism are just a few ex­amples of the feel­ings in his works.

He Spe­cial thanks to his mainly fe­male mod­els who take part travel long dis­tances to share his pho­to­graph­ic vis­ion and al­ways do their very best to fill his im­ages to life. His mod­els, his ideas and con­cepts, the nat­ur­al light, the mood and at­mo­sphere are key to his pho­to­graph­ic suc­cess.

He puts his ideas at vari­ous out­door loc­a­tions as well as his 200 m² stu­dio in an old fact­ory. His works can be found in vari­ous ex­hib­i­tions and pub­lic­a­tions, and have won sev­er­al photo prices.
